How is the weather at Annapurna Base Camp?

  • Day 04: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,540 m)
  • Day 05: Tadapani to Chomrong (2,170 m)
  • Day 06: Chomrong to Dhoban (2,600 m)
  • Day 07: Dhoban to South Annapurna Glacier Basin
  • Day 08: Visit Annapurna South Face Camp (4,130 m)

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

  • Our team welcomes you at Tribhuwan International Airport and transfers you to your hotel
  • A meet & greet with our trekking team and trek briefing
  • The rest of the day is at leisure and for any info about the area our team can inform you
  • Overnight at your hotel

 

Day 02: Fly to Pokhara, drive to Nayapul (1,070 m) and trek to Tikedhunga (1,480 m)

  • Early morning breakfast, checkout and depart towards the domestic airport
  • Fly to Pokhara and meet your trekking team
  • Drive towards your first trekking point at Nayapul
  • Start the trek from Nayapul to Tikedhunga (3 to 4 hours)
  • Dinner and overnight at Tikedhunga

Day 03: Tikedhunga to Ghorepani (2,860 m)

  • After breakfast continue towards Ulleri
  • Climb up the stone staircase
  • Continue towards Ghorepani
  • Dinner and overnight at Ghorepani

 

Day 04: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,540 m)

  • Early morning breakfast and depart towards Banthati
  • After lunch, head steep towards Tadapani (6 hours)
  • Dinner and overnight at Tadapani

Day 05: Tadapani to Chomrong (2,170 m)

  • Early morning breakfast and depart towards Chomrong Danda
  • Descend towards Chomrong village
  • Dinner and overnight at Chomrong

Day 06: Chomrong to Dhoban (2,600 m)

  • Breakfast and depart towards Khuldi Ghar (3 hours)
  • Passing through the bottom of the gorge reach Dhoban (7 hours)
  • Dinner and overnight at Dhoban

Day 07: Dhoban to South Annapurna Glacier Basin

  • Breakfast and depart towards the Hinko cave
  • Continue towards the south Annapurna glacier
  • Reach Macchapuchre Base Camp
  • Dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 08: Visit Annapurna South Face Camp (4,130 m)

  • Early morning breakfast and move towards Annapurna Base Camp (south)
  • Return towards the Macchapuchre Base Camp
  • Dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 09: Annapurna South Face Camp to Bamboo Camp (2,310 m)

  • Early morning breakfast and depart towards Bamboo Camp (around 6 to 7 hours)
  • Continue through the same route back South
  • Pass Deurali, Dhoban until reaching Bamboo
  • Dinner and overnight at Bamboo Camp

Day 10: Bamboo Camp to Ghandrung (1,940 m)

  • Early morning breakfast and depart towards Chomrong
  • Continue towards Kabre Chautara
  • Pass and rest at Jhinu Danda hot springs
  • Finally, reach Ghandrung after 6 to 7 hours
  • Dinner and overnight at Ghandrung

Day 11: Ghandrung to Dhampus

  • After breakfast depart towards Landrung
  • After lunch, pass through the Rhododendron forest and reach Dhampus at around 4 and a half hours
  • Dinner and overnight at Dhampus

Day 12: Dhampus to Pokhara

  • Early morning breakfast and depart to the Yamdi Khola valley
  • Trek from Hemja to Kaski Bridge via Naudanda and Sarangkot
  • Finally, trek from Sarangkot to Pokhara
  • Overnight at Pokhara

Day 13: Pokhara to Kathmandu (By flight)

  • After breakfast, hotel check out
  • Our guide transfers you to the airport
  • Fly towards Kathmandu
  • On arrival at Kathmandu airport, your guide will take you to your hotel by private vehicle
  • The rest of the day in Kathmandu is yours to rest or explore
  • A special “Thank you” dinner with a live culture show
  • Overnight at the hotel

Day 14: Final departure

  • After breakfast, hotel check out
  • Our team will transfer you to the airport about 3 hours before departure
  • Depart from Kathmandu
