Many ask the question: When is the best season for trekking at Gokyo Ri? We at Mountain Tiger Nepal recommend two seasons as the best times of the year to trek to Gokyo. The first phase is from February to May, as this is one of the suitable atmospheres to trek at the Gokyo Lakes. Secondly, the phase from September to November is also one of the best seasons to trek at the Gokyo Lakes. However, during December and January, you can find the trails of Gokyo Ri, welcoming you with soft snow. This creates a pleasant environment to enjoy your time at Gokyo. In these months the weather is likely to be clear, and the daytime temperatures are quite warm.

It is usually possible to trek in the summer in Nepal, or the monsoon season. Like in June, July and August, but greater preparation for difficult conditions is required, and you may not get clear views. So, February to May and September to November are the best time to visit at Gokyo Ri.
