As we all know we Mountain Tiger Nepal are one of the leading Trekking agencies in Nepal. We are renowned for our hospitality and top most services towards our guests, in all these years of existence of our company, we haven’t only just helped towards the tourism sector or helped many of our valued guest to explore our beautiful country we have done many humanitarian works like Afforestation, Blood donation program and many charity works. Beside these we have helped many unfortunate children from a rural village and from a deprived family. This is Bhuminanda’s story.
Born in November 10, 1997 to Father-Tanka Prasad Adhikari and Mother- Krishna Kumari Adhikari of Dangsing, VDC ofNuwakot District, Bhuminanda is the youngest of 4 children in his family. Being from a rural village where the occupation of majority of people is farming it’s more important to have a Ox to dig the land than sending children to Schools, and even after a hard and long days work there’s very little food and not much of money for their survival and we are not privileged, like in the western world for free education. It was very hard for Bhuminanda’s parents to manage proper food twice a day let alone sending their kids to School. Our team happened to visit Dangsing in one of his many treks and saw Bhuminanda playing in the street. When asked why are you not in school? Bhuminanda replied, I do want to go to school but my father says that if he sends me to school we won’t be able to afford anything to eat. Hearing this we decided to meet Bhuminanda’s father. Whist in conversation with the father our team leader realized how poor and deprived the Adhikari family was, he instantly decided that he needs to help this family and take responsibility of Bhuminanda who was intelligent and smart but dispossessed of education. So, he consulted with the team and offered to take Bhuminanda to the capital city, Kathmandu, give him accommodation and pay for his education through Mountain Tiger Nepal.
