Embark on our 25 days Everest North West Trekking journey to one of the superb trekking paradises reaching you to the Nepalese and Tibetan Base Camps, ideally nestled amidst the world’s highest mountain. Expedition from Tibet vantage point has become more popular among the mountaineers to make their dream come true to stand on the summit of Everest. A drive on through the Himalayas and across the Tibetan plateau all the way to Mount Everest’s Chinese Base Camp is a thrilling encounter of fabulous pedigree.
Everest North West Trekking commences with a short scenic flight to Lukla and follow the final stages of the approach to the mountain, turning around on the easy peak of Kalar Pattar which overlooks above the Southern (Nepalese) Base Camp. It is only a few miles from here to the Northern (Tibetan) Base Camp but our way is barred by the physically and politically impenetrable border. So it’s back to Kathmandu for our flight across the Himalayan chain to Lhasa. After a couple of days’ sightseeing around the Potala and local places of interest, we begin our drive across Tibet, the world’s highest country. The views from the Northern Base Camp on the Rongbuk Glacier are even more impressive than those from the south. Sufficiently acclimatised from our earlier trek to the south we are able to enjoy a day of high altitude trekking before returning to our transport for a memorable overland journey to Kathmandu via the “Friendship Bridge”. This marks the end of our historic Everest North West Trekking journey fulfilling our desires to conquer this legendary summit.
Everest North West Trekking can be attempted by individuals possessing sound knowledge or pervious trekking experience along with excellent level of physical fitness. An enduring and strenuous trekking circuit fulfills the desires of extreme trekkers who look for challenges and hindrances during a trekking stint. Mountain Tiger Nepal has well planned itineraries that makes this journey extreme and rare but on a safer side.
