Sherpa Village Trekking offers a unique adventure, allowing explorations of Sherpa Village, one of the highest human settlements. The trek gradually winds through rhododendron forests, Sherpa villages, and Buddhist monasteries.The journey begins with a brisk 40-minute flight to Lukla, followed by immersion into bustling Sherpa settlements to the north. Time is spent in Namche Bazaar, a renowned trading center between Tibet and Nepal, before proceeding to the holy village of Tengboche, a religious hub in the Solukhumbu region. This destination is characterized by indigenous communities living amidst ancient monasteries, temples, and preserved cultures.

The trek provides panoramic views of towering peaks and revolves around Sherpa life, offering insights into their culture, traditions, religion, and lifestyle.   • Captivating aerial views of the Himalayas en route to Lukla.
  • Upon arrival, we meet our Sherpas and we go through entry permit verification for the Sagarmatha National Park.
  • Surprisingly, the EBC trek begins by descending to the Dudh Koshi river at Phakding.

  • After breakfast, we start our trek to Namche Bazaar. 
  • Around halfway up the hill, a break in the trees provides us with the first glimpse of Everest. On clear days, the summit of the South-West Face becomes visible, peeking behind the extensive Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. 
  • As we journey on, we climb a steep path, savoring awe-inspiring vistas of the magnificent Himalayas, flowing glacial rivers, colorful prayer flags, and sacred Mani Stones. We then arrive in the delightful Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar by early evening.

  • We take the day off to allow our bodies to adjust to the rarefied atmosphere before ascending to higher altitudes. The secret to safe acclimatization is to “climb high and sleep low.”
  • We undergo acclimatization in Namche Bazaar by exploring nearby attractions. Our journey includes a visit to the Syangboche Airstrip (Nepal's highest airport), Sherpa Cultural Museum, and Hotel Everest View (the planet's highest hotel), a premier vantage point in the Everest region. Breathtaking panoramas of Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other peaks unfold before us at this elevated location.

  • We begin the trek, advancing along the Dudh Koshi River. Witnessing the enchanting sight of the mountains along the way.  Advance to Phungi Thenga, passing through lovely rhododendron forest.
  • As we progress, the stunning panorama unfolds, revealing Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse. The trail rewards us with lush rhododendron forests, glaciers, rivers, and monasteries along the route.
  • Upon reaching Tengboche, soak in the breathtaking scenery and visit the Tengboche monastery. Marvel at the prayer ceremonies performed by the Lamas.
  • A day filled with natural wonders and cultural richness concludes as we rest overnight in this enchanting mountain retreat.
